We had the pleasure of hosting our Rolls-Royce Clients for a weekend away at the award-winning Cape Lodge Country House and Hotel at the end of October.
The experience started on the Friday where guests were invited to check in at their own leisure. After being welcomed with canapes and drinks and meeting the other guests, they were welcomed to enjoy their secluded surrounds and luxury accommodation before the events of the weekend started the next day.
The morning started with a short but stunning drive down to the Dunsborough Boat Ramp, where our clients arrived for their private whale watching experience. Warm weather, calm water, free-flowing champagne and plenty of whales made for an exquisite experience.
Following the excitement of the morning, our guests ventured down to Howard Park Winery for a more relaxed afternoon. Guided by an experienced sommelier, our guests enjoyed a Private Wine Tasting Experience at the Cellar Door. They tasted the evolution and development of the finest wines for the Great Southern and Margaret River regions, comparing current vintages alongside museum wines.
The day concluded on a high note, with a specially prepared 5 Course Chef’s Tasting Menu by Cape Lodge’s Chef Tony. As the sun set, our guests mingled and took their seats in the Dining Room where they were met with live jazz music and two beautifully presented long tables. The menu featured sensational signature dishes created from locally sourced and home-grown seasonal produce, complemented with outstanding wines from the South-West region.
