The first all-electric performance SUV, the I-Pace is showcasing all the power and dynamics drivers can expect. The I-Pace 294W powertrain provides 696Nm of useable instant torque.
To achieve the 294W and 696Nm of useable instant torque the I-Pace is propelled by two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors integrated with the front and rear axles. The built-in All Wheel traction allows for the I-Pace to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds. It achieves all this in near-silence with zero tailpipe emissions.
The 90kWh battery is designed for longevity and periods of sustained maximum power, they have been able to achieve this through creating the battery with high energy density lithium-ion pouch cells. It has been designed using a state-of-the-art thermal management system.
