Last month, we were thrilled to host our annual Defender Lancelin Sands Experience, an unforgettable two-day off-road adventure set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lancelin’s iconic dunes. Designed to bring out the best in both driver and Defender, the event combined the thrill of exploration with the opportunity to enhance off-road driving skills.
The experience began with a detailed briefing by the LongGroup team before guests headed straight to the dunes, the ultimate playground for Defender. Under the guidance of the expert LongGroup team, participants learned how to confidently navigate soft sands, steep inclines, and unpredictable terrain. Through hands-on technical drive training, clients gained valuable insights into the Defender’s advanced off-road capabilities, mastering techniques such as traction control, vehicle recovery, and hill descent.
After an exhilarating morning conquering the dunes, guests were treated to a delicious lunch at the Lancelin Sands Hotel, featuring locally sourced ingredients and stunning views of the Western Australian coastline. The afternoon was filled with shared stories, newfound confidence, and a deepened appreciation for the Defender’s legendary capability.
