Aston Martin Perth is proud to partner with Lifeline to present their signature event, the Black Diamond Gala Dinner. The inaugural event has become a standout in the Western Australian philanthropic social calendar and celebrates its 11th year in 2021.
Lifeline WA delivers 24 hour crisis support services that aims to prevent suicide, support people in crisis and create opportunities for emotional well-being. There is a new call to Lifeline every 32 seconds from an Australian experiencing loneliness or distress. Barbagallo is incredibly proud to support such a vital service that helps West Australians every single day.
At Lifeline WA, everything they do is dedicated to ensuring that, when a person in despair calls 13 11 14 and reaches out for help, there is a highly qualified and experienced person available to take the call and to listen and help that person stay safe for another day. We know that death by suicide is preventable – because their Telephone Crisis Support volunteers prevent suicide every day.
Alongside silent auctions and jaw dropping performances, the event features keynote speaker Taj Burrow. The international surfing legend and Yallingyup local is the youngest surfer to ever win a national title. With a career spanning over 20 years, Taj’s has extraordinary tales to tell. His relatability, openness, honesty, and passion for life is truly, exciting, and inspiring and will leave a lasting impression on the Black Diamond Audience.
