In a world first, Lamborghini Perth teamed up with Australia’s leading contemporary street artist Anthony Lister to transform a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 into a unique mobile piece of Lister artwork and raise invaluable funds for ToyBox International.
The artist, who helped pioneer Brisbane’s street art scene, is famous for his dramatic style which blends spraypaint and pop culture.
“Street art is all about expression, and being able to leave a lasting imprint on such an iconic car is a once in a lifetime opportunity,’’ Lister said.
WA-listers gathered at the Lamborghini Perth showroom for an exclusive first-look at the Lister Lamborghini.
Inspired by the luxury car, the bold and controversial Lister Lamborghini is a fusion of high and lowbrow culture. A brooding dark background interspersed with trademark Lister flecks of colour intrigue and reinforces the allure of the Lamborghini. With Lister’s signature appearing on almost every angle, the artist’s dramatic touch is unquestionable both in style and context
Besides viewing the first-ever restyled Lamborghini Gallardo, guests were able to enjoy Lister artworks which have been reserved for Lamborghini Perth Clientele.
